In the event that we are advised by the Government to move to remote learning or if your child is unable to attend school for an extended period of time, the expectation is that work will be completed. Our remote education continues to make a positive contribution in enabling our children to learn and progress at home. All children will be supplied with various logins for online school subscribed educational sites, supported by reading books and paper copies of work, if required.
It is expected that responsibility for remote learning is shared and everyone has their part to play. We understand that every family has individual circumstances, that sometimes working with technology can provide other challenges, therefore we ask that parents please inform us about this and we will do all that we can to support you. Chrome Books are available to borrow from school for any children who might need them to access remote learning from home. Please contact school if you would like to make use of this offer.
School will organise and ensure that paper work packs are available for children who are working at home and unable to access learning via technology. These must be requested in advance from the class teacher, by email or via the school office.
We can also provide resource packs to the families of children who receive free school meals. These packs will include paper, pencils, pens, etc. Please enquire at our school office.
The links below will provide you with a clear plan of what learning will be provided, expected, from your child during this period of home learning.
