Collingwood Primary School
At Collingwood, we see it as essential that we provide opportunities for pupils. We partake in themed days to encourage celebrating our pupil’s diversity, British values and important events, such as the Queen’s Jubilee. We also ensure that children are aware of their own mental health and understand that with hard work and perseverance they can achieve their goals. Many of our children have aspirations to enter a career linked to PSHE; therefore we promote such career possibilities. We provide opportunities for the children to hear from different organisations and their importance in the community, such as water safety talks and police visits. Through various experiences, our children have expressed an interest in pursuing careers in various vocations linked to PSHE, such as: nursing, midwifery, lifeguard, police officer, fire brigade, dietitian, and lawyer to name but a few. Here at Collingwood, we aim to ensure that our children will see how PSHE can lead to numerous careers.
At Collingwood Primary School, we help children to understand their own physical, social and emotional development, whilst promoting positive and diverse moral and cultural values. Sustaining healthy well-being is actively supported throughout our school.

The Key Values are:
